The Eero Saarinen 48" Dining table was an immediate classic when it was introduced in 1956.  Introduced as part of a contest, Saarinen's objective was to "clean up the slum of legs and make the chair all one thing again" in his furniture designs.

This modern reproduction features a cast aluminum base with paint-grade finish and 3/4" MDF top with veneer finish.
