This modern pod stool is a really funky stool. It is a hard plastic, high gloss stool and works really well in kids rooms or bar/lounge rooms and game rooms. It is about 19 in total height and the seat height is about 16.5, which is a standard chair height. It is surprisingly sturdy, however, it is not the ideal piece of furniture for lounging in given that it is hard plastic molded and doesn't have a back or armrest...then again, no stools have that. It is a great piece for a modern decor, though, from a design perspective. The stool itself is quite light - 8 lbs at most, which makes it very easy to move around.
